The Educational Opportunity Fund provides financial assistance and support services to students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds at colleges and universities in New Jersey. Students who qualify for EOF display academic and/or creative promise but may not possess adequate resources to continue their education.

The EOF program is known as Engineers of the Future at the School of Engineering. It offers broader accessibility to students who might not meet the criteria for state-sponsored programs. Beyond academic access, EOF offers students a wide range of support services, including counseling, tutoring, professional development opportunities, and a nurturing network of peers and faculty/staff with a particular focus on their needs as students enter STEM fields.

With the support provided by the Innovation Fund, the EOF program admitted additional students to their 2023 Cohort.
