E3C Innovation Grant
Thank you to all faculty and staff who submitted proposals with innovative ideas to support first-generation students and those from modest-income households. The application period is now closed, and all submissions are being reviewed.
Decisions will be announced early this summer.
Being First: Teaching First-Generation Learners
Over the 2023-24 academic year, student participants reflected on classroom challenges to identify key teaching practices that Rutgers instructors can use to support first-generation students. The SAS Teaching & Learning team produced a student-centered digital multimedia resource accessible to instructors across all Rutgers campuses.
